Security advice that doesn't end with a quote for guards.

Independent site risk assessments, security design reviews and incident-response planning. Written reports you can share with insurance, a building owner or your committee — even if you never use us to deliver the work.

Tupper Security provides independent security consulting and risk assessment for businesses, body corporates and developers across Ipswich, Brisbane and South-East Queensland. We deliver site risk assessments, security design reviews, post-incident reviews and incident-response planning as written reports — scoped, fixed-priced and useful regardless of who eventually delivers the implementation. Tupper holds QLD Security Firm Licence (Class 1) #4572076.

Engagements we run most often

  • Site risk assessment — physical audit, threat profile, prioritised recommendations. Most common after an incident, before an insurance review, or when bringing security under one plan.
  • Security design review — for construction projects, before lockup. Camera coverage, access control, alarm zoning, integration. Cheaper to fix on plans than after handover.
  • Post-incident review — what happened, what failed, what changes prevent the next one. Written for the operator, the insurer, and the building owner.
  • Incident-response planning — written response procedures for body corporates, multi-tenant buildings and high-risk premises. Who calls who, in what order, with what authority.
  • Due diligence — security posture review on a site you're acquiring or leasing. What's actually there, what's missing, what will it cost to bring up to standard.

Independent — and why that matters

Most security consulting in Australia ends with a quote for guards or hardware from the same firm that did the assessment. That works fine when the recommendations are sound, and not at all when they're not. Our consulting work is scoped and priced independently of any guarding or installation work. If you want us to deliver, we'll quote separately — but the report is written to be acted on regardless of who delivers.

What you get in writing

  • Written report — physical findings, threat profile, prioritised recommendation list (quick wins, structural changes, longer-term capital)
  • Sketch-level proposed changes — camera positions, door re-zoning, lighting upgrades, sight-line fixes
  • Indicative budgets — for each recommendation, what range it sits in
  • Compliance and insurance notes — what your insurer or regulator typically asks about, and how the recommendations line up

Who this is for

Sites where security has grown by accretion — multiple cameras added over years, two alarm panels because you changed providers, three door systems because each tenant chose differently. Body corporates trying to bring committee-led decisions under one plan. Developers who want a security review before lockup rather than retrofit afterwards. Operators reviewing what changed after an incident.

How it pairs

Consulting often leads to recommendations that touch CCTV, access control, alarm response, mobile patrols and static cover. We're happy to quote any or all of those — separately, after the report is delivered. See our pricing approach →

Frequently asked

No. Consulting engagements are scoped and priced independently of any guarding work. We'll quote the implementation if you want us to do it, but the consulting recommendations are written to be useful regardless of who delivers.
Physical security audit (perimeter, doors, locks, lighting, sight lines, CCTV coverage, alarm posture), access control review, incident-history review, written threat profile, and a prioritised recommendation list — quick wins, structural changes, and longer-term capital. Delivered as a written report you can share with insurance, a building owner or your committee.
Sites where security has grown by accretion rather than design — multiple cameras, multiple alarm panels, multiple door systems, no single picture. Also: post-incident reviews, due diligence on a site you're acquiring or leasing, insurance-driven assessments, and design reviews on construction projects before lockup.
Fixed-price for defined scopes (a site risk assessment for a specific premises is a fixed quote), hourly for advisory work and design reviews. Quoted before we start, no surprises.
