CCTV that holds up when you actually need the footage.
High-resolution IP cameras, professional recorders, and a remote-access setup that works when you're trying to check the site at 2am from your phone. Designed and installed by licensed operators across Ipswich, Brisbane and the growth corridor.
Tupper Security designs and installs CCTV and IP video surveillance across Ipswich, Brisbane and South-East Queensland. Standard footage retention is 30 days; regulated industries run 60–90. Every system supports phone, tablet, and desktop access. We hold QLD Security Firm Licence (Class 1) #4572076.
What we install
- IP camera systems — 4MP–8MP fixed and PTZ cameras for perimeter, entry points, yards, and interior coverage.
- Network video recorders (NVRs) — sized to your camera count, resolution, and retention requirement.
- Remote access — iOS and Android apps, desktop browser viewing, role-based user permissions.
- Network & cabling — Cat6/Cat6A runs, PoE switches, structured termination — neat, labelled, documented.
- Integration with monitoring — for sites that pair CCTV with our 24/7 monitoring or alarm response.
24/7 monitored CCTV — live operator review
Install-and-record CCTV is deterrent and evidence. Monitored CCTV is response. With monitoring, your camera feeds are reviewed by licensed operators in real time, with dispatch triggered the moment something out-of-pattern is seen — not the next morning when you're reviewing footage of an incident that already happened.
What's included
- Live operator review — feeds watched 24/7 by licensed Tupper officers, not an offshore call centre
- Dispatch on trigger — mobile patrol or alarm response unit dispatched the moment an operator sees an event worth attending
- Voice-down and audio challenge — for sites with two-way audio cameras, operators can speak directly through the camera to deter intrusion before dispatch is needed
- Daily activity summary — written log of overnight events delivered each morning
- Incident reports — written incident reports with timestamped footage links, ready to share with insurance or police
When monitoring earns its place
Monitored CCTV makes sense when the cost of an incident exceeds the cost of paying for live oversight. Construction sites with high-value plant on yard, retail premises with high-value stock, industrial sites with copper or fuel exposure, and remote properties where local police response is slow — all are stronger candidates for monitoring than for install-only. We'll be honest about whether your site fits the profile.
How it's priced
Monthly recurring, scaled to camera count and the hours of monitoring required. Some sites run 24/7 monitoring; others run dusk-to-dawn only. Lockup-to-open monitoring is a common starting point for retail and commercial premises. Quoted alongside the install during the design phase, or added to an existing CCTV system you already own.
What useable footage requires
Most domestic CCTV looks fine until something happens and the footage doesn't show what you need. Three things make the difference:
- Camera placement — facing the right access points at the right angle, with overlap so you can't be defeated by a sticker over a single lens.
- Resolution and frame rate — high enough to identify faces and number plates at the distance you need them.
- Retention — long enough that you find out a week later and the footage is still there.
Every install we quote walks through these explicitly.
Industries we install for
- Construction sites — Ripley, Springfield, Brassall, Goodna. Theft and vandalism evidence; insurance claim support.
- Retail and hospitality — Riverlink, Booval, Brisbane CBD strips. POS-aligned coverage, public-area views, dispute resolution.
- Body corporate / strata — common areas, basement carparks, lobbies. Privacy-aware placement (we know what you can and can't record under QLD law).
- Childcare, aged care, healthcare — extended retention, restricted access, audit trails.
- Acreage residential — Karalee, Karana Downs, Brookwater. Wide coverage on long driveways and outbuildings.
Pairs well with
CCTV is most effective when paired with a physical response layer — mobile patrols for unannounced site checks, or 24/7 alarm response for triggered events. See how CCTV installs are priced →
