Event security that fades into the background until it's needed.

Licensed crowd controllers, static guards and access management for corporate functions, weddings, private events, and venue work across Brisbane, Ipswich, and the wider corridor.

Tupper Security provides licensed event security and crowd control across Brisbane, Ipswich, and South-East Queensland. Anthony Tupper holds the Queensland Crowd Controller licence personally; every guard on an event is individually licensed. We hold QLD Security Firm Licence (Class 1) #4572076.

What we cover

  • Crowd control — RSA-aligned, calm-first, escalation-ready
  • Static guards — entry points, back-of-house, VIP areas
  • Access management — guest list, ticketing checkpoint, accreditation
  • Bag and ID checks — venue or organiser policy as required
  • Liaison with police, paramedics, venue staff — known faces, single point of contact
  • Pre-event walk-through and risk assessment — included in scoping

Events we staff

  • Corporate functions — Brisbane CBD, South Bank, riverside venues. Discreet presence, professional dress code option.
  • Private events & weddings — Karalee, Brookwater, Mount Tamborine, Brisbane inner suburbs. Calm presence, guest-list management.
  • Venue work — Milton (Suncorp precinct), Fortitude Valley, West End. Scaled crowd control for ticketed nights.
  • Public events — markets, festivals, community gatherings across Ipswich and the corridor.
  • Sporting events — local and regional competitions, junior tournaments, club fundraisers.

How we scope an event

  1. Brief. Date, venue, attendee count, alcohol, risk factors, organiser priorities.
  2. Walk-through. Site visit (where useful), entry/exit mapping, choke points, emergency egress.
  3. Plan. Guard count, positioning, briefing pack, contingency tree, communications.
  4. Brief and run. Pre-event briefing on site, structured shifts, debrief at stand-down.
  5. Report. Written incident log delivered next business day with anything you need to act on.

Capacity for large events

We scale officer numbers to the brief — from a single guard for a private function through to multi-officer teams for ticketed venue nights. Our network of licensed crowd controllers and security officers across South-East Queensland means we can resource any size deployment a contract requires, with named officers and documented post orders rather than a body-shop model.

Frequently asked

It depends on attendee count, alcohol service, venue layout, and risk profile. Corporate dinners often run 1 guard per 100 guests; alcohol-served public events usually run higher; high-profile or VIP events depend on threat assessment. We scope this during the planning call once we have the event details.
Yes. Every crowd controller holds a current Queensland Crowd Controller licence and works to RSA standards on alcohol-served events. Anthony Tupper holds the Crowd Controller licence personally — the standard the firm operates to comes from the top.
We staff events at venues across Milton (Suncorp Stadium precinct), Brisbane CBD, Fortitude Valley, South Bank, and West End. Venue-side requirements (badging, briefings, debrief) are factored into the quote — we run the compliance load, not you.
Two to four weeks for standard corporate events; six to eight weeks if your event falls on a busy weekend (NRL home games, concerts, festivals). Last-minute requests are sometimes possible — call us and we'll tell you honestly whether we can resource it.
